Which Tim Burton movie would you say is the best and why?

I loved the contrasts between Edward and the town. I loved how the movie focused on his struggle to be accepted as a "normal" person among people who were far from "normal" themselves. It was almost a cross between Pinocchio, Frankenstein, and The Stepford Wives!

M$I think this is the quintessential Burton flick - it's artistic, moving, and lively. It seems like the culmination of so many of his projects to that point, things like: "Pee Wee's Big Adventure", "Edward Scissorhands", and "Beetlejuice".
And since then it seems like he's been trying to recapture that macabre magic...unsuccessfully, as with movies like: "The Corpse Bride", and "Sweeney Todd".
