Which social networking site do you think will crash on New Year's?

Mahalo? Twitter? Facebook?
Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Twitter more or less survived the election night. If it could survive that, then it means that between tweaks and updates, and cheating (but turning off some features during heavy use time) they got the site to actually run during heavy traffic.

Why would any such site crash on New Year's? All these sites are going to have FEWER users than average, as is the case on all holidays.

Logical deduction

I'll vote for MySpace because I think it's a dumb site. I hope none of thse sites crash on New Years, especially Mahalo because I like using it.

Since a large number of people will be out at parties for the new year there will be fewer individuals using these sites which means a chance of a crash is slim. Of the social networks the only one I could forsee having a problem would be Twitter and that is only if a TON of their users do the mobile update.

What is more likely is the Cell networks hitting a snag and slowing down but even these are unlikely to crash.
