M$I feel meta search engines are the best one for now.Because with Google one search or universal search,now finding the proper answer is getting much difficult for non technical user.

I like Google and ASK best.
They Google usually returns too much information and you must experiment with adding and subtracting terms in your query.
ASK is a little more focused ( less number of pages and more relationship to what you want.)
