Which satellite company has the cheapest packages?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

That said, my general feeling is that Dish Network offers the cheapest service for most people. Still, I think it is best to do some comparison shopping based on what you want. Here is my recommendation. Make a list of the channels that are important to you. Determine if you need extras like premium channels, HD, DVRs, etc. Then do some comparison shopping between providers by checking which package they have gives you everything you want. By making your list first, it will keep you from talking yourself into an extra $5 or $10 a month for channels that look good, but you really don’t need.
Final step – when you compare prices, be sure to compare pricing over the full term of the agreement. Most satellite providers require a 2-year agreement to get their “deals”, so make sure that their “initial” offer for 6 months of good pricing won’t cost you too much in the last 18 months of the deal. By comparing the full contract, you’ll know which is better.
