You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I recommend a Stage 1 chip from http://www.performancechiptuning.com/Ford/Mustang . You should gain anywhere from 10-20 HP

I would be VERY cautious of using ANYTHING from this company!
Firstly the 10-20 HP increase! It so much depends on the state of engine tune at the moment for ant 'chip' sometimes will actually decrease output, at other times 5 HP if your lucky! But the other products they sell!
'Fuel saver module' 'Air intake super charger' 'Electric super charger'! Rubbish!!! They DO NOT WORK! It's a con!! 'Google these items! Why do you think manufacturers DON'T fit these items! They DO NOT DO AS CLAIMED! And as for the video demo, blowing over a bit of wood and a roll of tape! I can do that with my mouth lol. 'Snake oil' is what it is. Notice no proven facts\figures to back claims!!!

Not sure what you mean by 'works best'!
What is your criteria?

Anyhow, I would be concerned about which one actually 'works' a all! Unfortunately many people produce\program these so called performance chips with some fairly exaggerated claims.

Firstly decide what you want (and don't want) from a 'chip', go to a reputable dealer\modifier. Discuss what you want and what you are starting with (condition of engine NOW).

Ask to see documented proof that their programming gives the claimed results (written testimonials, graphs, etc)

Ideally, you would place your car on a 'dyno' (rolling road) before (base figures), during (fine tining) and after (final result).

Generalising, you will find very little benefit, compared to cost, in fitting a 'chip' to a standard tuned engine. There are many 'other' mods\improvements that can be carried out first, increasing performance.
Speak to a reputable engine tuner!
