In case some would ask or so that they wouldn't search anymore, here's the seven deadly sins...

--
1. Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

2. Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

3. Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

4. Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

5. Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

6. Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

7. Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

I'm a self-professed glutton... HAHA! XD I always eat a lot... I am so thin that I want to get fat that's why I eat more than necessary at times. T.T

I think among the seven deadly sins, that's what I'm most guilty of. I'm a catholic person and I believe in karma that's why I try to be a better person always. What goes around comes around... that's why I avoid committing sins.

Greed! Yay greed!! I love money!!!

I want to make money, I want to save money, I want to hoard enough to retire early and comfortably.

Money can't buy everything, but it can certainly solve lots of problems.

Personally I don't even view my greed as a problem.* Due to greed I strive to improve my writing skills, my verbal communication skills, and I strive to aquire a broad range of job skills. I also enjoy helping people and I see money as a tool that I can use to donate to worthy causes . . . Ok that is a little un-greedlike, but nobody can be totally imperfect right? ^_~

* Would that be Greed with a side of Pride?

Envy. By definition envy is similar to jealousy, but different in one very important way. Jealousy can denote that resentment is present. Jealousy can also be a precursor to one's actions resulting in the obtaining of an object of envy.
I agree that I am envious. I regard and admire many people, their talents, their good fortune. But I rarely ever find myself with envious feelings that cause distress or anger. I rather feel more determined and strive to attain those goals myself.
A small amount of envy is healthy. Seeing the success of someone, could be just enough to boost one's ambition. If you never see the results of someone else's good fortune or talent, would you work as hard to reach your own potential?

Great question! Thanks.

I was mesmerized by the talent it took to create this short video. Envious maybe??

Which deadly sin would I be most guilty of? Well, probably gluttony. Although I am not excessively overweight or even obese, I do tend to eat more sometimes than I intended to initially. Sometimes my appetite takes over and carries on the desire for a second serving long after my initial hunger has been stilled. I am working hard to master portion control and most days I will succeed in my healthy eating habits. But of course there are always days in between, such as the weekends, holidays, or times of get-togethers with friends and family during which the opportunity arises to snack or feast continuously through the evening. Eating is a habit that can quickly turn into an addiction if not put in check. Unfortunately, we sometimes associate too many everyday occurrences with eating: boredom, frustration, depression, loneliness, celebration, fun, movie time, and many other things. This may cause us to reach for comfort foods or for food in general every time we experience a certain type of emotion.

Um there are a few that stick out.. pride, anger, gluttony. I sat her thinking to myself which I rate highest in. However thinking about it my gluttony arises out of my arrogance to believe that i am above my metabolism and my anger arises out of my ego generally so I think the later two are a result of the first. I label myself pride.

(I love that movie)

I find it sort of irrelevant though as the seven deadly sins are not really applicable in my religion.

Using Dante as a model of the definition, I would say Wrath. In my line of thought anger(wrath) is a more usefull tool than despair. Using Christianity as the model I am guilty of all sin. I am forgiven because I surrendered to Jesus Christ. Sin is Sin.
