Which name do you think is nicest?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Yes:
Arabella and Ann go well, especially with Ann as a middle name.
Josephine is nice. Jo is a great nickname. I knew one and called her Jo-jo bean. I dunno why.
Nora is nice. I have always liked the way this name sounds, even when someone says it with an accent!
Penelope: I've always liked the sound of this name. It's rare that you have 4 syllables in a first name.
No:
Wilma... it sounds too Flinstones. Sorry.
Chi-Chi. I'm a Chihuahua lover, and that's what we call our dog breed for short. It also sounds like baby talk for boobies. Just wait until she starts 'blooming'!
Janice is just too plain when mixed in this group of names.
Tilly doesn't sound serious.
Maybe:
Bethany If you like this variation of Beth... you might want to think of Elizabeth. I love this name because it is very versatile. From this one name, she can choose later on to have any of these shorter versions.
Liz
Lizzy
Beth
Betty
Betsy
Plus Elizabeth is a very regal name... and another 4 syllable one.

Shakira is another one that doesn't fit the all the other names you've thrown at me.
I hate to say it, but it has a particular ethnic feel about it.
When I hear it... I think of a female basketball player! (sounds like Shaquille O'neal)
These are just the strange connections and images that happen in my brain.
