I would like to have been awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. I would like to have the opportunity to show I had the fortitude of character to be heroic, the will to be courageous, the instincts to make the right decision, and the training to survive.

I know it recent times this award has been presented posthumously to veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan but like Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta I would like to have survived the ordeal that led me to have the opportunity to accomplish whatever it was that earned me this award.

I have heard the modest and humble claims of Giunita who would describe his heroics as just another day at the office (running into enemy gunfire to save a friend and fellow soldier) but to me this award means that when Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta was presented with an decision, he risked his life to make the correct decision, had the ability to think under extreme pressure, and exhibited the will, instinct, and fortitude to execute his training and do all of this under the most extreme pressure imaginable.

I would like to posses and have the ability to express those instinctual skills and traits of character in my every day life as a civilian.

As someone who has always enjoyed writing and other academic interest, I think a Pulitzer Prize or a Nobel Prize would be a great honor – followed closely by a Teen Choice Award. I mean, knowing that I had captured the fickle hearts of 12-17 year olds and not likely for any specific talent, but more for being “dreamy” would be pretty outstanding, but if I think about it for a while, I guess I would be more meaningful to achieve something requiring a greater level of effort and with a larger contribution to society.

Nobel Prize for Literature:

I doubt it will ever happen. I don't think it would happen. BUT... I intent to evolve Aristotle's work and from the sound of it, temper Ayn Rand's work with a bit more humanity... so... you never know.

I've been studying the 'human experience' for a few years now and have a life that kills most, and will kill me... but preordainment to death for someone like myself is more a benefit than hindrance. 10 years or less to write a book. Or two. No formal training. A 9th grade education. A genius level IQ. A twisted life. And still I want better for myself and others. A predisposition to hate- so I am at my best when the odds are against me...

...hell yeah I'm getting that damn prize.
