The team that was able to trade a defensive specialist who was contemplating retirement and an inconsistent bench player for one of the best centers of all time, who, although at the downside of his career, managed to average 18 points and 8 rebounds last year.

Ben Wallace + Sasha Pavlovic= Shaquille O'Neal? That is a steal.

Final answer...Cleveland Cavaliers.

I was thinking about this trade and it might be a steal for both teams. Shaq wasn't working in phoenix even though he is great. And instead they get a defensive special which they desperately needed and Sasha who did play very well when he started for Cleveland in the finals the other year.

That is dependent on Ben Wallace choosing to play this season, and also staying uninjured. Sasha is a talented player, just very inconsistent. Maybe he'll fit better in the faster-paced Western Conference.

Houston
Philly
New Orleans

The Artest deal is good if it is just Donte Greene and Bobby Jackson. Greene might be a future great player but the Rockets are in a win now mode with T-Mac and Yao Ming. Also Brent Barry acquisition will pay dividends in the playoffs and also 3 pt shooting although it will be shadowed by the Artest acquisition.

Sixers stole Brand and they really improved their team vaulting to the top four in the East arguably vying for an Eastern conference title

The Posey acquisition is really underrated but it is definitely a significant move to acquire a veteran player who brings championship experience (vastly underrated) and timely 3 pt shooting. And bolsters the bench.

Possibly Toronto as fourth best considering the O'Neal trade. Health remains a key issue. the last four seasons he missed approximately 124 games out of 328 games regular season.

At least check the date on articles when you copy/paste them. Everything you described happened last year.
