Loch Ness Monster more affectionately know as Nessie
The enigma of the deep, there has been much lore surrounding this creature that lives in a magical land of brilliant greens, deep dark depths, and foggy mists.
If she isn't real, she ought to be. I've the the old girl since I was nothing but a wee lad.
I sort of view her as a real life puff the magic dragon who lives UNDER the sea instead of "by the sea"

The fur-bearing trout is loess dangerous than the jackalope (no antlers) and highly prized for its soft fur, though making fur coats of them leaves you smelling rather fishy.

I'm curious what you use to train a bunnyphuphu... And also what happens when you give them alcohol! :-)
A phu can be easily trained to do rudimentary tricks with a keyboard and computer. You can even train one to use a phone. I recommend you use chocolate since they work well with that reward.
When you give them alcohol, they end up turning into gremlins and have been known to post some pretty outrageous answers on this board!

So, in light of this thinking, I would love to know that preparing for a zombie invasion is not out of the question. Or keeping garlic and a cross around right beside the silver bullets isn't too far fetched. I would also like to think when something comes up missing the fairies and elves will bring it back just when I need it most.
As for proving whether they do exist or not, I would prefer not knowing because someone somewhere will think we have an obligation to reform zombie health care or monitor the flight of a drunken fairy and make unicorns only eat organic grasses. Let them mystify us with strange glimpses out of the corner of our eyes. Let them co-exist silently outside the boundaries of our realm. Allow them to remain the stuff dreams, movies, and awesome books are made of and not become something we become disappointed in when we find their powers are not as great as we had hoped.

I wonder is the "eye in the hand" man will be as disturbing at my dinner table or would he(it?) fit right in. I cant wait to find out. A favorite author of mine Kahlil Gibran has even touched on the mysterious subject of "eye in hand" and I would love to learn more about it directly from the source. M$There are a number of these creatures that I would like to see, and there are plenty of people around here that swear that they really exist. I myself have sworn that there are owls around here that haunt me and cannot possibly be animal-figures. There are no pictures of any of these creatures, but taking pictures of them is considered to be really bad luck. (Who would dare take that chance?)
One of the most popular stories of Creek lore, is the legend of Este-kenes (sta-ginny), which many people believe is not a myth at all. On the other hand part of their charm is the magic and mystery that surrounds them. Sometimes it is better to believe in the possibility, the hope than to know for sure. Knowing our penchant as humans for exploring things to death, maybe it is better they are never found for sure.
Nessie or Sasquatch would be my choices though. I suppose because there have been so many stories, legends, even movies and books that mention or feature them that they have become a real possibility in people's minds.
We may be an intelligent life form as humans but it would be nice to know these elusive creatures really existed and had eluded us for so long. If they do and they have, it is humbling.
Canada has a protected area called "Sasquatch Provincial Park".
The California Department of Fish and Game called vocal recordings used to attract Sasquatch "wildlife harassment".
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers called Bigfoot a native species.
When all three were pressed for more information they all called their respective statements a joke. It is interesting that officially they acknowledge the existence of Bigfoot/Sasquatch and yet when cornered about it they claim they were joking. It does make me wonder what they aren't telling us.
In Scotland, Nessie is legend. Tourism has sprung up around the legend of The Loch Ness Monster. I think it would be great to see her all by myself, no one to prove it to, no one around, no photos, just to know I had.
One of my favourite t-shirts had some people around the shores of Loch Ness putting fake Nessie footprints on the shore line. The caption under the drawing read,"Preparing for tourist season on the shores of Loch Ness". This is not the same one but it is similar enough to make me chuckle too.
Even with the gest though the idea that she is really up there has a mystical quality about it.

Yea... there was a time when I researched a lot on mermaids. I was so curious about their existence. There are many people who claims to see one, and some of the pics on that video are the same ones I saw before. They look creepy though. :(
I think I'd believe about it more when they captured something alive? I hope when they did, they won't hurt her. :(

Ah what a cage does to an animal. You can actually watch them fade away and die right there in the cage, and still be breathing. It's the most horrific thing you will ever see. Well, at least it was to me.
Mysterious creatures would be worse because chances are if they are around they are rare. Makes little sense to take them from the wild and take away the one chance they may have of mating.
So.. my choice is.. humanity. I would like to see humanity in captivity. :P

I wouldn't like to see it in captivity though. Where would you even keep it? Except maybe declaring Loch Ness a national park, and Nessie a protected species.
