Unlike MySpace, there is no level of anonymity. Your name is how people search for you, first AND last. You can choose to display all your personal information including your cell phone number, AIM screen name, and your campus and home address so people can continue to stalk you when you're home for the holidays! Like MySpace, you can post your photos but you can create photo albums and "tag" all of your friends that appear in them. Recently Facebook added a status function which is much like an away message to let people know what you are doing RIGHT NOW and of course a blog function called "notes" that allows you to import your blogs from MySpace or LiveJournal.
Just when you think Facebook has covered all the bases...
Facebook just added a "news feed" function that redefines what it means to be a stalker. Not only will it let you see what your friends are doing without even clicking on their profiles, it let's you know when and what Jane posted on Anne's "wall" or that Bob just friended Joe or that Mary went from being "in a relationship" to "single" and it even lets you know the EXACT time it happened! No effort is required to stalk someone on Facebook, but it also means that whenever I update something on my profile or send a message to a friend, EVERYONE I'm friends with will know about it.

M$Which is better for...
:: Catching up with all your old friends - Facebook.
Myspace is more difficult to navigate, and it is very easy for people to not be listed under their real name. It is difficult to search for people using the email search, because due to the high amount of spam, many users that I know use an alternate email just for myspace, that you wouldn't know about.
:: Finding random people to talk to - Myspace.
Although, it's honestly a toss up. There are actually some applications on Facebook where you can meet new people. However, myspace seems to appeal more to the crowd that wishes to remain anonymous or at least mysterious, and likes to meet random new people on the internet. Facebook is more about networking with people that you already know in real life.
:: Communicating with your friends via photo, status updates, blog posts, etc - Facebook
The Live Feed (you have a choice between most recent and most popular/Top News) provides you with instant updates on everyone's activities, and your activities show up in your friend's feeds. The site is organized well for status updates, photos and blog or website posts. Also, you can import information from other sites you may be using. Also, the privacy controls on Facebook are getting better and better, which means you can limit who sees your updates, or what is able to be viewed by particular friends or groups of friends.
:: Playing fun app games - Facebook
There are SO many apps, you are bound to find a couple that you enjoy. And if you hate apps, you can block them from sending you invites. YAY.
:: Phone access to the site - Facebook
Facebook's mobile site is much easier to read, and Facebook has put out applications for most of the smart phone models available. Myspace has apps out too, but I have found them more difficult to use.
In summary,...
In my experience, I've found that Facebook is a great tool for social and career networking. Especially considering the recently upgraded privacy controls, which were already quite useful and now provide you with incredible control over the information you post to Facebook. I've also found that the maturity level is higher, and the amount of spam users and messages are lower, when using Facebook as compared to Myspace.
Obviously, I choose Myspace as the worse of the two. Use Facebook!

M$Facebook is more interactivea and for all types of users, especially for marketers. It gives the social plateform to businesses to promote their business ideas. Myspace is still popular to individuals who only want to meet friends and share things they want.
