Which is the most dramatic NBA Finals series is the most dramatic and memorable for you?

Being an avid Utah Jazz fan then, my most exciting, memorable and dramatic NBA finals was the 1998 series between the Chicago Bulls and the Utah Jazz in the 1998 NBA Finals. The Bulls won this one and captured their 6th titles in 6 games. This finals was the most watched titular showdown in the history of the NBA. Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen lead the Bulls assault and neutralize the Jazz vaunted pick and roll offense of John Stockton] and. The Bulls won a total of six (6) titles in the 1990’s.

As a lifetime fan of the Philadelphia 76ers, the most memorable NBA Finals was in 1983. The 76ers had for years been a very good team, making it to the Finals in 1977, 1980 and 1982 only to lose each time. They lost in 1977 to the Portland Trailblazers after being up in the series. The two losses in the early 80's were to the Los Angeles Lakers. But the team rolled through the 1982 - 1983 season with 65 wins. Center Moses Malone predicted a sweep in the playoffs with his "four, four, four" prediction. The team came very close to doing just that. They swept the New York Knicks, lost just one game to the Milwaukee Bucks and ran through the Lakers in four games to win the NBA Championship. It was awesome to see the great Julius Erving finally win an NBA Championship. He and Malone made the All NBA First Team that year and Malone, Maurice Cheeks and Bobby Jones made that All Defensive Team. I'll never forget Cheeks dunking in the finals seconds of the last game of the championship, silencing the crowd in Los Angeles. I was just 13 at the time and that was a season and playoffs that I'll never forget. Still the greatest moment in team history for me.
