If the aluminum wheels aren't painted already, and are bare metal, you can scuff them with a 3M scotchbrite pad (red) and WD-40. this will give a "brushed aluminum" look to the wheels. Then buy a can of "Self-etching Primer"- then you can paint the wheels whatever color you want on the primer.
