Answer- Wall*E

Why?
Not just because it's the latest Pixar film, but because it has the most heart. Pixar prides itself on character development. Their mascot is Luxo Jr. the lamp that was brought to life with animation. It is natural for them to bring the inanimate to life, like with Toy Story. But as opposed to Toy Story, Wall*E didn't have much to work with. No face to speak of, just camera eyes and 3 fingered claws. Not even a real voice, just synthesized sound. (Its true, there is no voice actor credited for Wall*E's voice, it was all done with computers). So with all those challenges to have been able to make such a touching, enjoyable film was quite an achievement.

I have to agree. Toy Story was a great, great movie and was very fun to watch. The game that followed it was fun, too(back in the day...).

This is like asking "which of the best gourmet ice-creams is the best?" They're all brilliant. People will probably find an affinity with one because of their own personal experiences which will make them choose a particular one.

Me? I'm not sure. I love Wall-E ..I love Ratatouille. I think I have to choose The Incredibles though, because it has a great story, lots of great characters, action, adventure, a really really good story and emotional trip, and absolutely stunning music that takes it up one more level.

On any other day I might be choosing Monsters Inc., Wall-E, or Ratatouille though. ..All the others I'd suggest are merely brilliant. :)

I'd have to say Finding Nemo. It's nice to see a kids movie where the main characters are a single father and a child with a some sort of disability. You don't see that too often.

Wall-E.

It's lack of speech makes its message easily translatable into many languages. It's intelligent and cute and makes even jaded folk leave the theatre feeling touched. It is generally well-loved and is slow moving enough to make you take everything in and digest the messages and themes without getting bored.

WALL-E is definitely the best Pixar movie. Not only does it provide deeper meaning with its social commentary of our present wastefulness, but it is a movie that both children and adults will enjoy.

The best will always be Toy Story, the first one. The original is best :)

The concept was original and the idea of toys being real was a great story. I know that type of story has been done before; however, Pixar made it fun and believable.

This is a tough question. I really like Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Wall-E. And I'm really excited about the new Pixar movie Up--maybe that will be the best one when it comes out next summer!

Monster's Inc.

By this time, Pixar had come into its own in the animation world, and the story is funny and heartwarming. A must-see for kids and adults. I fell in love with this movie my Jr. year of high school and spent the next 3 months carrying a stuffed Sulley doll around with me.

Toy Story 2 - it was the first animated movie in existence being a veritable sequel that was better than a critically acclaimed original. In fact, I believe it may be the only one still -- it combines almost everything one could want in a movie: adventure, comedy, drama, and horror.

I'm going to go with Toy Story on this one. It was groundbreaking in so many ways - not just the animation, but the plotting and script-writing made it enjoyable for all audiences.

In the years since, they've improved pixel count and surface textures, and they've made many fine movies, but they haven't made any BETTER movies.

Toy Story truly because of all they went through to make it. Starz made a brilliant documentary called The Pixar Story. I highly recommend it for all of its background info on the people behind Pixar.

Every Pixar movie is the best, for their own reasons.
The Incredibles, for finally getting cartoon superhero movies right
Toy Story - a classic, great story
Finding Nemo - Amazing story about friendship & father-son relationship
WallE - strong message

they all have stunning cinematography as well.

Mine is Finding Nemo. Apart from the great story and lots of Aussie actors voices, the directors track is great as not only do they talk through the movie, they stop it, step out to show story boards and how the move changed over the lifecycle of the move.

Best commentary track I have seen.

Ratatouille is the best Pixar film as show by its 5 Academy Awards--more than any other single Pixar film has yet to earn. Moreover, on metacritic.com, Ratatouille received a rating of 96 which is a higher than the other Pixar movies.

Notwithstanding, Ratatouille earned a Golden Globe for Animated Picture.
