Which is the best medical school to apply to in Boston?
If you were looking to study medicine in the city of Boston, what qualities would you look for in an institution of higher education? There are a number of great universities and colleges located in Boston that would likely meet numerous educational needs of the potential applicant. Boston also has Harvard Medical School, which is a very prestigious institution with limited access and high standards. Other choices include Boston University Medical School, Tufts Medical School, and University of Massachusetts Medical School (which is actually located outside of Boston). Which of these schools have the greatest reputation and highest success rate in turning out highly skilled medical professionals? Which university would you choose? Would you try applying to Harvard?

Definitely try to apply to the best medical school you can get into and afford. US News & World Report ranked Harvard University 1st and 17th in 2010 for best research and primary care medical school respectively. Tufts University is ranked 33rd in primary care medical school by the same report followed by Boston University at 56th.
