Which is better for ordering ebooks- Barnes and Noble or Borders?

How much is the membership fee for Barnes and Nobles savings club? Are there any free coupons for shipping on Amazon?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

What ebook reader do you have? Barnes and Noble http://www.barnesandnoble.com/ebooks/index.asp has all their ebooks on the Nook ereader, and Borders http://www.borders.com/online/store/Landing?view=2&type=1&nav=5185+700152&kids=false has their ebooks on the Kobo ereader. That usually determines which store you would make your purchases from. The membership fee is $25 annually at Barnes and Noble after they give you a two month free membership trial to try it out. Amazon, http://www.amazon.com/ on the other hand uses the Kindle for their ebooks. The Ultimate Coupon site http://www.ultimatecoupons.com/coupons/amazon_coupons.htm has some Amazon offers for free shipping on orders over $25. However keep in mind that if you are looking at ebooks, there is no shipping costs as they are downloaded.

As far as which is better Barnes and Noble or Borders, I would have to give Barnes and Noble my vote. One they are more well known, at least in my circles, hence they probably have a wider variety available; two I liked their website better, it had a cleaner look to it; and three, I am partial to Barnes and Noble because I have two ebooks on their shelves, with three more soon to be added (grin).
