Which is better for a CQB in a life threatening situation, an MP5K or a P90TR?
Assume the intent is the survival of yourself/team and the survival of the assailants is trivial.

In the event of my/my team's survival being paramount and my attacker's live being substantially less so (which would always be the case), I'd prefer the Mossberg 590 Persuader 12 guage. Either the HK MP5K 9mm SMG or the FN P90TR would be great to have as a back up to the 590. Not because I think the 590 will fail, but just in case there are more assailants than shells in the magazine. Of course I'd like a Springfield XD Tactical .45 on my side, an XD Compact .45 in the small of my back, and an IMI Micro Eagle .380 hidden somewhere on me. On my other side it would be nice to have a good sharp machete or tomahawk, and strapped to my vest I'd have to have a Rat RC-6. In one pocket I'd carry a Cold Steel Rajah II. In another pocket would live a Benchmade 3300-81 Infidel. In a 3rd pocket I'd have a Benchmade 551-101 Griptillian. Oh yeah, and a couple of flashbangs.
If I thought I might face engagements at various distances from CQ to about 300m, I'd opt for an IMI Tavor TAR-21, instead of the shotgun/smg combo, and I'd add a few grenades to my rig. Everything else would stay the same.
If I was fairly certain that I wouldn't be involved in a CQB, I'd swap the TAR-21 for an HK416 with an HK M320 GLM attached. And of course my side arms and bladed weapons.
Ooo, or the appropriate variant of the Magpul Masada for any of the above situations.
If it was a home-defense CQB situation, I'd want a Benelli Supernova Tactical Comfortech, the 590, a 357 Magnum Smith & Wesson Model 327, A Taurus "The Judge" Model 4510TKR 3SSR or the XD Tactical.
If I was in a cave on Kodiak Island (I'm sure there'd be a real good reason for it), and I ended up in a CQB with a 10 foot Brown Bear who wandered in to investigate, I'd want a Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan .454 Casull, a S&W Model 500 HIVIZ, or a IMI Desert Eagle Mark XIX .50AE.
