Which hotel would you recommend in Chicago if I want to pamper myself?
I will have some spare time visiting Chicago and wondered if there were any hotels with offers on alternative therapies, like massage therapy or Reiki etc.? I want to relax a bit after the stressful travel. Any personal recommendations?

Chicago has a number of legitimate 5-star hotels. The top of the list includes The Elysian. Trump International, The Ritz-Carlton, The Peninsula and the Four Seasons. While each of these hotels has excellent spas, only the spa at the Ritz Carlton is famous. You can even get a midnight massage at the Ritz.
There are a number of other great hotels in Chicago that are 4 star rated and a little cheaper but still in the pampering class. The Peninsula, Drake, InterContinental and Four Seasons are wonderful hotels and in my opinion five star hotels. They all have wonderful exercise and Spa facilities.
If you want a smaller boutique hotel you are in luck. Most small hotels do not have their own spas and have relationships with day spas near their location. The Dana Hotel and Spa is a brand new small hotel that has been built for exactly the sort of pampering you seek. However, it is too new to have a rating or recommendations.
