The Harry Potter movies have a slightly altered screenplay. The Philosopher’s Stone and the Chamber of Secrets have stuck to the original script when compared to the other movies. Hence these were the most enjoyable in my experience.

The Prisoner of Azkaban totally upended us with the discovery of Sirius and The Goblet of fire with its Triwizard Tournament was definitely a treat and the order of Phoenix showing the Dumbledore Army and Grawp! The Half blood Prince offered the visual exhibit of the romance between Ginny and Harry. The Chamber of Secrets by far had the most to offer with respect to visualizing! Dobby’s ploys to keep harry safe, Harry’s face off with Draco Malfoy, Ron’s and Harry’s plight in Aragog’s cave and fighting the deadly Basilisk in the Slytherin’s Chamber of Secrets!

It all takes us to the never ending journey of the dark and dangerous creatures that haunt the magical world of Harry Potter and his friends!

So far my favorite Harry Potter movie has to be "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". I thought that the blend of humor and suspense made it a very good movie to watch. The acting from all parties was impressive, and I believed their roles.

My least favorite was Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince because it spent so much time on the silly teen love aspect that it left out incredibly important and useful plot points.

I am still waiting for parts 1 and 2 of the last Harry Potter movies to make my final judgment, but if they do what the book says and not use too much "directorial license" in their production then it should be a fantastic mini-series to view.

Of course, I'd have done many of the movies differently. As they stressed in the beginning that they would not veer off too far from the books, it seems that the newest director, David Yates, has found it better to change things around so much that the Harry Potter fanatic (I'm almost one) would feel that they'd been cheated out of the most important parts. If you leave out too much of the horcrux information, how do you make the 7th movie tie into the 6th movie? They barely touched on one of the most vital pieces of information when they did the movie, to make sure that Ron Weasley and Lavendar Brown got to "snog" enough times.
