Which films made you cry after watching ?

Well ... I don't remember much of the movies which I cried. :p

However, Titanic has made me cry every time I watch it. I don't know why I keep doing it, but some drops of tears come out during the breaking of the ship and when Rose finds out Jack is dead. I think the reason has to be the slow music beat of the song My Heart will Go on.

What are the movies which made you cry ? What is the reason ?

Well, you're making me admit to things I'm ashamed of that have been in the "crying vault" for a while now. But I've cried after the following :

Return to Me - The romantic drama starring David Duchovny as a man whose wife dies unexpectedly, and her donor heart is given to another woman, who he happens to fall in love with. Tear jerker moment? When he comes home from the hospital after losing his wife, and has to tell their waiting Golden Retriever that she's never coming home.

What Dreams May Come - Robin WIlliams (of all people!) stars in this drama about a man whose dog dies. Then his children die. Then he dies. Then his wife kills herself. Ugh. Worst tear jerker moment? When he sees his dog in the afterlife running to him and says "You can run!".

Terms of Endearment - ...of course! When the leading lady has to face saying goodbye to her kids as she's dying of cancer and still shoulder the knowledge that her husband's chasing around another woman, it's powerful stuff.

Ghost - I'll just admit it, the Righteous Brothers and a floating penny do it to me every time.

Armageddon - Okay, this one is embarrassing! But when I was pregnant, it was on tv every other hour, and the scene where Liv Tyler thinks her father and fiancee are dead, and then when she has to say goodbye to her dad? Sobbed every time. I'm much better now.

The funny thing is that Titanic never made me cry! But every time I see Rose find out Jack is dead, it DOES make me launch into a rant--every single time--about how they both could've lived! If she had just stayed on the lifeboat that he put her on, that floating board would've saved HIM. Or there were so many other floatees out in the water! Can't explain myself sometimes.

I saw Titanic when I was about 10, and I couldn't understand why people were making fun of Jack and his cheesy lines when we were walking out of the theater. The movie had opened a few weeks previously, I'd finally convinced my mom to let me go see it, so people already knew what would happen and had gotten over the initial sadness of it.

Flight 93 was intriguing to me, and to my dad (who worked with air traffic control in the Air Force), so we went to go see that in theaters as well. It was really interesting, but definitely not a movie for the faint of heart. It's a shame it wasn't too popular - that, and the firefighter movie about 9/11.
