Which countries have political parties either represented by or named for the color Orange?

Tip for best answer: M$0.50
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It's a good start. I seem to remember seeing a British party rosette in orange, and reading about one of the ex-soviet republics having an Orange party.

Yes, I believe there are more too, but these are the ones I could find, if I can find any more I will post them as a comment. Since you didn't ask for all of them I figured I'd start.

How about The Netherlands? Our Royal family are called the House of Orange-Nassau. Our founding father was Willem van Oranje (William of Orange), and our nation has been lead by 'Orange'- family members ever since!

It's even in our national anthem (which is officially the oldest in the world): (translated)
William of Nassau, scion
Of an old Germanic line,
I dedicate undying
Faith to this land of mine.
A prince Of Orange,
I am, undaunted ever free,
To the king of Spain I've granted
A lifelong loyalty.

Belgium has a Chistian Democratic party (CVP), which associates with orange Reference

And as said, I am sure there are many others...

No, as Orange is seen as the national color, no political party dares claim that color...

Yes the Dutch are Orange but are any of the political parties there? By the way, that same Orange is the reason for the Irish Orange, with Prince William coming to the English crown as a Protestant and the color Orange represented the Irish Protestants ever since.
