Which constellation is the most interesting?

Which one is your favorite, and why? What makes it stand out from all the others?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had a fondness for the constellation Orion. I first see it in the sky, the month of my birthday. It makes me feel like it's placed there just for me. I know it's not, but still makes happy.

Orion is one of the few that I can easily recognize when I look at the night sky. Your birthday month is a great reason to think of it as special!

I think that Ursa Major or the Great Bear is the most interesting, because it never looks like a bear from any angle. Rather, it looks more like a big sauce-pan.

I am trying my best to see it as a bear.

Thanks

Good point. This was the first constellation I learned about as a child, and most of the time I still think of it as the Big Dipper.
