I do believe that humor is timeless. It is entrenched in our memories and helps us live in the past by taking us back to when we created those memories. It's that trigger. Some may argue that doesn't make it timeless if you aren't remembering the exact comedy, but I disagree. It's the symbol of the memory. Just because I don't remember the specific I Love Lucy, doesn't mean that the memory it helped create is lost.
So, whether it's Leave it to Beaver, WKRP in Cincinnati, The Cosby Show, Seinfeld, Friends, and the host of new comers to the batch, these will forever be timeless. Subjective, yes, but still timeless.
