The top world geography programs in the United States are: the University of Minnesota, Penn State University, Ohio State University, the University of /California-Berkley, Syracuse University, UCLA, Clark University, the University of Washington, the University of California-Santa Barbara, and the University of Wisconsin.
Most of these top schools have bachelors, masters, and doctorial degree programs geography. The typical college geography programs give students the option of selecting from a variety of degree concentrations: world geography, cultural geography, physical geography, and human geography. To obtain an undergraduate degree in geography students must take a combination of general requirement classes, electives, and core geography courses.

After college you can then begin working on your degree in world geography. At this time there are four schools that are leaders whenever it comes to receiving this type of an accredited degree. They are:

· The University of Western Ontario in Canada http://www.uwo.ca/
· Clark University in the U.S. http://www.clarku.edu/
· San Diego State University in the U.S. http://www.sdsu.edu/
