which city in spain would you visit if you had a chance?

Tip for best answer: M$0.37
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Since I am an artist as heart, I would want to visit Barcelona. Art is every where. In the streets, in the architecture. You don't even have to pay admission into a museum to see some of the best art in Europe!

Barcelona has some of the most unique architecture. Our world is becoming a bland cookie cutter of sameness. This city breaks all the architectural rules.

Right, I have visited Barcelona several times and the Gaudi influence is blown in the air...besides catalonians care quite a lot for the design and the art compared with other cities of Spain.
Also there is an international cosmopolitan influence thanks to the numerous visits that the city receives every year. Each visitor brings a piece of its culture which finally is blended around the city itself for sure.
Great Videos from Barna (Barcelona's nickname...)

I've been to both Barcelona and Madrid.

If I were to revisit and could only pick one, I'd go for Barcelona. It has a lot going for it, and is more of a vacation spot than Madrid. Lots of culture, art, food, shopping, beaches, nightlife, and if you like soccer and can get a ticket there's FC Barcelona. It's also more compact and walkable than Madrid, where you spend more time and energy on just getting around.

I've also heard great things about Toledo and Seville, so I'd love to visit either of those as well.

Toledo looks pretty good doesn't it.... :)

I would definitely visit BARCELONA. I love it's architecture. I don't think any other city in the world has such architectural masterpieces on every street to top it all it has a beach.

I would go to Valldemossa, Majorca (or anywhere on the island). It looks like a beautiful place. Frederick Chopin and George Sand (a woman) went to Majorca . I even like the way the words "Valldemossa, Majorca" sounds.
