Pete Campbell. Hands-down, Pete Campbell.
Yes, he's a snake. Yes, he's a slimeball...most of the time.
But he's why the show is AMAZING. He's a complex character who you hate, and hate, and hate, and just when you think he can't get anymore diabolical, he reveals a vulnerable, sad, flawed side. And then you pity him just a little.
Pete keeps the friction going, and I almost kind of relate to him. He's trying to get ahead, he feels a ton of pressure, but moving forward isn't as easy as he'd though it would be.
Bravo, Pete Campbell, bravo.
