Which cartoons or supposedly "educational" shows would you never let your children watch on TV?

When my older son was little, he loved watching the Teletubbies (which his former day care provider had gotten him hooked on), but I always felt like this show did not serve any educational purpose, since the characters in it did not even speak audibly. I also never liked some of the shows on Cartoon Network and tried to limit them once my son grew older. Which kids shows do you prefer your children stay away from (or consider a waste of time)?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The Wonder Pets. Not because it isn't educational or cute - I don't mind it even. But because of the duck on the show, it has a serious speech impediment. My child is just learning to talk and since they imitate at this point, I don't think having a duck with a lisp in front of her is a good idea.

If I had kids, they would not be allowed to watch Spongebob or Dora The Explorer, because those shows annoy the hell out of me. They could watch it at a friend's house if they wanted to.

Dora, I can deal with because of the educational factor (even though she is a bit annoying). But Spongebob has far, far too much adult humor. It isn't even appropriate for small children, in my opinion.
