Which carterpillar is this?

I found this caterpillar, or larva I don't know, while I was sitting in the garden and I wondered what it is. It is very, very small, you hardly see it, and it is yellow-greenish with a black shiny head.
What is it or what will it be when it is grown-up?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There's an entire website devoted to this. You'll have to look at their photos and determine for yourself because you'll see that alot of them fall under the description you gave.

It sounds like the larvae of the Argid Sawfly. Your description fits them perfectly. This fly is actually related to the bee and wasp. These flies do not sting. They are leaf miners of the poison ivy plant. They lay thier eggs in the ground (maybe right in your front yard!). They are common in the Eastern United States as well as the mid-west.

Check out my sources. The first link has many pictures of catepillars. You can verify my findings.
