Jane Eyre, written by Charlotte Bronte, and published in 1847 is considered to be the most successful novel of the three Bronte sisters. Although, some debate that Wuthering Heights, published by Charlotte's sister, Emily, was equally or more popular than Charlotte's Jane Eyre.
Charlotte Bronte published 4 novels:
Jane Eyre, 1847
Shirley, 1849
Villette, 1853
The Professor, 1857 (published after her death in 1855)
Emily Bronte published 1 novel:
Wuthering Heights, 1847
Anne Bronte published 2 novels:
Agnes Grey, 1847
The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, 1848
Each sister also wrote numerous poems, short stories and incomplete novels.
I hope this was helpful! :)
