Which bird is best for a pet?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi and thank you for your question. In order to determine which type of bird is right for you, you will need to consider the size of the place you live, you level of finances you have and your tolerance to noise as well as bird dander and droppings.
The easiest bird to have and train as a pet would be a Cockatiel , they are easy to teach to talk and are generally a friendly bird that only bites when you tick them off. They are not small or large they are on the medium side of the spectrum. However birds of all sizes require a lot of time and attention in order to train them.
