Announced performers for the world cup 2010 opening ceremony are Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, Angelique Kidjo, Juanes and Shakira. African performers include Amadou and Mariam, Tinariwen, and Vieux Farka Touré. South African musician Vusi Mahlasela will also perform as will Johannesburg bands JKS, BLK and The Parlotones.
