Which actor has "died" the most in movies?

How many times did he/she die?
Tip for best answer: M$1.37
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I have to say that the listings that I have seen online have not even come close to the person that died the most in movies. The overall record for most deaths in movies has to go to Christopher Lee. I remember seeing an interview with him a few years ago in which he pointed out that he has been killed or destroyed in over 40 movies!

Since he is closing in on 300 movies, it is not a stretch when you think about it. Consider the fact that he played Dracula, or another vampire, in 12 movies. In each one, he was destroyed at the end. Granted, he was technically already dead - but why split hairs? Next, you have the fact that he died in "The Mummy," "The Curse of Frankenstein," "Rasputin: The Mad Monk," and "Five Golden Dragons." The total of these movies along is 16.

We could probably go on for a long time over this one. Needless to say, it surprises me that the people who wrote the articles on deaths in movies would not look to one of the most prolific actors of all time as being the one who died the most.

Sort of the reverse but worth mentioning. I don't know if they reused the same extras but damn, those poor Red Shirts!

I thought that it wa strange that most of the articles that I saw about it only mentioned newer actors. Also, none of the B-movie actors were mentioned either. I can think of at least 12 movies in which Barbara Crampton died.

I found a great site that lists a few actors and how many times they've died in movies.

On their list Robert DeNiro (14 Deaths) was the most.

The list of movies :Bloody Mama, Bang the Drum Slowly, Mean Streets, Brazil, The Mission, Cape Fear, This Boy’s Life, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Heat, The Fan, Jackie Brown, Great Expectations, 15 Minutes, Hide and Seek

Dang, I was going with "Kenny" from "Southpark" but that's a tv show and yes, it's animated.

According to this chart and a few other sources, it is Robert De Niro...if we are talking about well-known U.S. actors.
