Which 10 extra college campus should I visit to promote FreezeCrowd? I've been to over 20 college campuses this past month.
I'm thinking about visiting more college campuses, after visiting plenty this month. The person who names 10 great college campuses with a reason why I should visit it will get the tip. I must not have visited this college campus. Hint: You can check out our Twitter @freezecrowd http://twitter.com/freezecrowd to get an idea of ones I visited, yet not all are listed.

You really ought to visit central Indiana to see a bunch of noteworthy universities and college that are all within an hour or so of Indianapolis:
Butler University. You *do* know Butler, right? Won the NCAA Championships last year, taking over Hoosier basketball pride from Indiana University?
Ok, so Indiana University, an hour south in Bloomington. Has noteworthy schools of Business, Law, Journalism, Medicine, Music, Dance, Folklore and more, as well as past and present sports champions. It's beautiful there, to boot, and 1/2 hour from an art enclave. Home of Hoagy Carmichael ("Stardust").
Back up in Indianapolis, I.U. has a joint project with Purdue University right downtown. I.U.P.U.-Indianapolis is a huge, active campus where the I.U. Schools of Medicine and Dentistry have their homes. You'll not only hit students but the urbanites living downtown here. It's gorgeous this time of year, too.
An hour northwest of Indy, there's Purdue University, whose engineering and related programs are world-reknowned. Like I.U., it's another Big 10 School with a large, international student body.
About 45 minutes northeast of Indy, there's Ball State, not a Big 10 school, but nearly as large as the other two. It has an excellent psychology program, among other things.
Only about a half hour from Ball State is Taylor University, one of the Midwest's leading small private schools. When I was there our main rival for developing computer applications was Dartmouth. Taylor has many years running of winning the U.S. News and World Report's award for top Midwest small university.
Also about a half hour from Ball State are both Indiana Wesleyan and Anderson University, both a bit larger than Taylor, but with good reputations. As long as you're in the area, why not? Slightly north are Wabash, Manchester, and Huntington Colleges, smaller, private schools.
Back in Indianapolis, there are also Marian College, a respected Catholic university, and University of Indianapolis. There are several smaller schools as well.
If you feel like a little drive, 3 hours north is Notre Dame in South Bend.
And an hour to the southwest are several schools: Indiana State University, and the well-respected Rose-Hulman and St. Mary of the Woods schools.
Here's a pretty good video. I spent a LOT of time on the couches they mention--I was reading. Really! I do take exception to the description of Indiana, though. Pffffft. Sheltered kids. :-)

I don't want to give you a bunch of statistics from Wikipedia, so I'll just advise you on the universities that I have personally visited and myself have organized at.
UCLA
Personally I think you would miss a huge opportunity if you didn't visit UCLA. First, the campus is huge. With nearly 40,000 students, you are talking about a small town. Second, there is a great free speech area for passing out flyers, meeting students and organizing events (The Bruin Walk). Students come from all over the united states, and the world because of UCLA's programs. Therefore, they have connections to friends and family in other parts of the country. This helps extend your message off campus.
USC
One of the most prestigious private universities on the West Coast, USC is home to many students from wealthy families and you have a greater chance of your message spreading to business owners, entrepreneurs, and corporate types. Also, you will encounter a more business oriented student body here. Their policies for on campus organizing is somewhat strict, but if you go through the right channels, you could get on campus.
UC Berkeley
Again, with about 35,000 students, your visit could have a wide range impact. Berkely is also a very "hip" and saavy campus. UC Berkeley was the center of many counter-culture activities during the 1960s and 1970s(some bad and some good) and still carries this liberal tradition on campus. Therefore, you have a student body that is already open to new ideas and expects to be presented with "cool" new products on campus.
San Francisco State University
Just a hop from Berkeley, you could hit the university of the common student in the bay area. This would be ground level to expose your product to the average bay area student population. With nearly 30,000 students, this campus is large enough to make your trip worth while.
I hope you get a chance to visit all of these campuses. I think if you get to these four universities, you have given the appropriate attention to California. Good Luck!

I see you hit DC. University of Maryland, my alma mater, is only 9 miles away and accessible by Metro train. Exposure in DC would undoubtedly get you nationwide if not worldwide exposure. Children of Members of Congress and embassy employees are likely at all of the DC schools. Even if not, you'll have exposure to students from almost every country on the planet.

1. I saw your twitter page and feed and it can use some pepping up--but you have to know how Twitter works to make it effective. The first thing I noticed was that your website's address isn't at top right of the page (consider that a freebie) Lots of things, too. I could probably make a list. A bunch of things jumped out at me right off the bat.
2. If there's something I learned in DC about politics, it's this, and it holds true for you, too:
Knowing someone with connections (in this case, to Student Affairs people at colleges and universities) can be priceless to you. .
3. You may find a local legendary place that's willing to do it. That puts you AND them on the map and broadens your horizons beyond college kids. (Another freebie.) Once again, connections and a knowledge of how Twitter operates. It's a win-win situation for both of you.
4. Tell Uncle Bruce & Aunt Eve I said "Hello." .(My final freebie.)

1. University of Michigan - "The Harvard of the West" Big 10!!! Go Wolverines!! (My Alma Mater)
2. Michigan State University - ummm Home of Sparty?!?!?!? BIG 10!!!!!!!! Huge Party school, where the motto for sports is "Go Green, Go White," but the party motto "Smoke Green, Blow White."
If you're staying in MI, also hit up:
3. Western Michigan University - Another huge MI party school....actually that's all that needs to be said!
4. Central Michigan University - Fire Up Chips! Not only is this a couple miles away from Soaring Eagle Casino, an Indian Casino, where you can legally gamble at 18! Yes 18!!!! There are Tons!Tons!Tons! of gorgeous golf courses around the area! PohlCat designed by Arnold Palmer!

Yes, I do! Two of my nieces are currently at I.U. I have friends who are professors at I.U., Purdue, Marian, Taylor, and Indiana Wesleyan, and friends who attend Ball State and IUPUI.
