Where's the best place to create online photo albums?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

You can check this Mahalo.com page http://www.mahalo.com/How_to_Choose_a_Photo_Sharing_Site_for_Newbies

I personally prefer Flickr.com/ because its free & easy to use.

Try Google Picasa Web Albums.

The desktop application Google Picasa is very useful to synchronize albums to the Internet.

Flickr and Picasa are popular and free. There are a number of communities and sites like photopipe for pros to share their photographs. I share pictures with my family all around the world through Photoonweb: http://www.photoonweb.com/ . I find that it has several advantages: It is a free application with free webspace to upload quite a lot pictures. It automatically compresses the images prior to uploading them. You can also add descriptions and choose a design template. You can give free access to your albums for which people simply follow a link. As the individual images won’t be indexed by Google it provides a reasonable degree of privacy.

I have been using it for years and exceed my free web-space, but I find it so useful that I am paying for the additional advert free storage space.
