Where will Obama's beer bets end?
He bet on the hockey match with Canada, he bet on the soccer match with England. Will he make a beer bet with President Turk of Slovenia over the next match. Slovenians love beer. Will they be insulted if the President is less chummy with them? But then, what about Algeria? They're next and they don't drink beer.

Looks like the pattern is that if it's another G8 nation that the USA is up against, Obama will make the bet.
So probably no bet with the leader of either Slovenia or Algeria. However, Germany could be the US's opponents in the next round, although with Angela Merkel being a lady, this might reduce the chance of there being any wager.
France look to be out of the tournament now so Obama won't have to have a bet with Sarkozy. However, there's still an outside chance the USA could meet Italy later on (Japan are also going okay); say what you want about Berlusconi, but he knows his football!

USA finished ahead of England in the end, so yes, it's Germany v England now instead.
Merkel is a lot more of a beer drinker than Obama! If she gets a chance she should make a big bet, because USA soccer wouldn't have a chance against Germany.
