Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I'm not sure of the city, but at least the last image is somewhere in Columbia. There is a Columbian flag flying on the corner of the building.

I've also figured out that the man in the top statue is Simon Bolivar. Here is a very similar statue, possibly from the same mold:

Wait, I'm changing my mind on the first one. It is definately the statue in front of the Congress building in Lima Peru This looks like the exact statue only with a fence:

If that is the case, then Nixon visited (as far as I can deduce)

Asuncion, Paraguay
Bogotá, Columbia
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Caracas, Venezuela
La Paz, Bolivia
Lima, Peru
Montevideo, Uruguay
Quito, Ecuador

The second picture looks like a statue of an explorer, but I can't figure out which one.

I can't see any of the links you have given, but #1 is a positive ID of Lima, Peru, Good work.

Still hoping for #2

I see the flag in #3, and it does appear to be the Colombian flag in the full size image.

It is quite possible (probable) that these pictures are from several different Latin American locations. From the best I can tell, they were taken during Nixon's "Goodwill tour"

The top one is in Lima, Peru, and is Simon Bolivar. According to the North Carolina State University Wiki article on Simon Bolivar: "The monument was finally done the 9th of December, 1859. This was the anniversary of the battle of Ayacucho. It measures 16.65 feet without its pedestal and 28 feet in total. It is located in the Plaza del Congreso (Congress Plaza) in Lima. "
