Where to stay in Vail, Colorado
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi @catherineannc -
I've got two choices for you since you didn't mention price. I've been to Vail a few times while I was living in Denver and found it breathtaking in both the summer and the winter.
For the higher end, you should look into the Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa. If you plan on booking this for the winter, you'll find that the ski lifts are right outside the back door.

If you're looking to save some money, I would try Hotels Cheap and Trip Advisor for some deals. I do know that the Holiday Inn at Vail offers a nice room that's just a mile from Vail Mountain. You can get rates for them on the Hotels Cheap link I provided.

If you're heading out for summer... you might want to look into Zip Adventures. It looks like a fun way to spend a late summer afternoon! Enjoy your trip. http://www.zipadventures.com/
