Where to buy a Jaguar hood ornament?
I'm a big fan of Jaguars, even though I've come to terms with that fact I'll probably never own one. Beautiful fast cars named after an awesome cat...what's not to love! :-)
I'm especially fond of the Jaguar hood ornament, and am wondering where I might purchase one to mount on the hood of my trusty AMC Gremlin. Can I purchase just the hood ornament from a Jaguar anywhere online? I prefer to get one that's authentic, but would go for a knock-off if they're super expensive.
Any tips on how to mount the hood ornament on my Gremlin would also be very much appreciated...

There are a number of places where you could get one. Being creative might be an answer. Look on places like E-Bay, order one through a Jaguar dealer, a body work place probably has lot of sources, as does a place like
Pull-A- Part or junk yards. Try Impound lots where they tow cars after a wreck and will eventually junk the cars. And don’t forget the want ads or Craigslist. Chances are good that a Jag is sitting somewhere and it will only cost you a couple of bucks to get a genuine one.
