Where should I host a Christmas get together?

Some of the places we've had extended family get-togethers in the past have been club dining halls (like Rotary, Lions, Masonic Lodge); restaurants that have banquet halls; apartment complex clubhouses.
The best has been at a hospital! A couple of the hospitals in our city have attached hotels, and the hotels have big, open spaces available for rent. One of them includes a hotel suite with a kitchen in the rental fee, so we have a bathroom, a couple of TVs and a bed if anyone needs it (like if they're not feeling well). Toronto is big enough I'm sure you have some hospitals with similar set-ups, and since hospitals don't close on Christmas, they may have this unbooked. Worth a shot to check, anyhow.

M$*edited to remove copy/pasting*.
Sorry about that -- newbie, didn't realize copy pasting was unacceptable.
And for a small group, if you don't want to cook, sometimes restaurants are the best idea. And for a larger group, some have party rooms of some sort that are available...

M$One, copy/pasting seems acceptable on this site (look at the huge number of Best Answers that have done just that), as much as I think it is kind of weak.
Two, it is very common for restaurants to have VIP areas for rent, or simply areas they will block off for you. They'll even let you throw a small jazz trio in there. Typically, they will do the food, and perhaps give you two food choices per appetizer, entree, dessert, &c.
Copy and Paste is not accetable, you know. Plus, how do you host a get together at a restaurant?
So passive agressive, mrnemo.
