Where should I buy my first golf club from?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Buying a club isn't really something you can just go buy - you really have to first figure out what length is the best for you (as shorter golfers will struggle with longer clubs and vice versa), the particular weght of the club (some golfers prefer heavier heads than others) and then you can get into the individual brands which can get expensive quickly.
That's why Golfsmith is so awesome - you can literally try out the club you have your eye on to make sure that it's the right fit for you. The guys that work there are skilled in clubcraft and will advise you on what may work better for you and get the most for your money.
The link below will give you a start, but physically going to the store is a really cool and educational experience! Enter your zip code and it will direct you to the nearest store. The one by me actually has a putting green with a river running through it!
