Where might I get a chance to see "Cold Case" being filmed in Philly?
One of my favorite cop shows is "Cold Case," a series by Jerry Bruckheimer that is set in Philadelphia. (If unfamiliar, the basic premise is that the detectives are trying to solve cases from years gone by, and often there are wonderful "period" episodes that visit crimes in the early to mid 20th century).
I am wondering ...is the show primarily filmed in the city, or shot elsewhere with only strategic location bits being given to place the series in Philly? If it is REALLY shot in Philadelphia, I'd love to know what areas of the city are most often used for filming. Also, what months of the year would be a good time to come to the city and maybe stumble upon an opportunity to see some scenes being filmed?
