Polk Museum of Art is at 800 East Palmetto Street in Lakeland, just a block off Lake Morton and behind the Lakeland Public Library. Polk Museum of Art, now celebrating its 45th year, is among the Top 10 art museums in Florida and is an Affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution. Its Permanent Collection includes a diverse array of art, from contemporary works by national artists to an impressive Pre-Columbian collection. Current exhibitions include a show featuring a renowned Cuban-American artist, and in April, Polk Museum of Art will welcome "Annie Leibovitz: Women."
