Where is the best fireworks show in the Los Angeles area for July 4th?

I've heard Long Beach and the Hollywood Bowl are pretty good. Pasadena as well. Anyone have a recommendation?
Tip for best answer: M$2.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Pacific Palisades Charter High School always has a good show along with Marina Del Ray.

I think that the best place is the Rose Bowl, but this website will show you a really long list of places you could consider. It has all the information you should need like the place, time, cost, and etc. Hope it helps. :)

Just go to google and type in www.safejuly4th.org/Los Angeles County and then click on the link that says Firework Shows in Los Angeles County. It's the first one.

I like the one down in Marina Del Rey personally.

And: lame that the People's Republic of Santa Monica does not feel inclined to sponsor July 4th fireworks.
