Hi. The Risnjak National Park is in Croatia. This National Park is situated at the back of the city of Rijeka and it's coast area, in the north-western part of Gorski Kotar. The territory surrounding Mount Risnjak was declared a National Park in 1953. There are approx. 4.000 plant species, Brown Bear, Lynx, Wolves, Wild Cats, Wild Boar, Deer, and 500 different species of butterflies. It's area size is approx 30 sq. meters, and rises to a peak of 1.528 m. It's a wonderful place for walkers and hikers, and a popular destination for lovers of plants and nature.
