Help for women without money with a divorce summons
I am a single unemployed parent and my estranged husband is doing nothing to help me support our kids. I have very little money to supply for my family and he has enough money to support his kids but refuses to. Does he pay child support? Is he required by law to pay it, but doesn't? If so, then a quick phone call to the police is all you need to do. It's a serious offense, they won't just disregard you.
Secondly, why are you unemployed? Are you looking for jobs? If need money to raise your children, hunting for a job - almost ANY job - should be your first priority. If you can't get a higher paying job, you're just going to have to settle for a lower paying one and continue to look for a better job on the side; you don't have time to be picky right now.
There's also welfare or food stamp programs, try applying for them and you could be accepted. There's also various support groups for women who need help in these situations, both off-line and online.
