I really like Sonoma. They are right on Capitol Hill, and they have a great atmosphere in there. They have outdoor seating while the weather is nice (it's great right now, so this would be a good time.
The upstairs area is the real wine bar part of the restaurant. The people serving the wine really know what they're talking about.
The cheese plates are great, as are the meat trays. I would definitely recommend going there. It's a bit spendy, but if you're looking for good wine and cheese, I assume you would already expect that.
