Louisville Kentucky is in the Jefferson County area in the state of Kentucky, the area has 6 different neighborhoods that include Downtown, East End/Hurstbourne, Bardstown Road/Baxter Avenue, Frankfort Avenue, Old Louisville, and Beechmont. Louisville is also known as the "City of Parks" as the area has many great parks for visitors to enjoy, 122 to be exact. Louisville is just south of the Ohio River and southeast of the Falls of the Ohio. The area is said to be a part of the Bluegrass area. It is home to the Kentucky Derby and the Annual Beatles Festival. While Louisville is the largest city in Kentucky it still manages to have that small town feeling. There are many places to shop, catch a show or some kind of entertainment and it is easy to drive right into Indiana from this area.
