Where does US peoples usually take their meals when they are not at home ? restaurant, fast food chain, hawker center, food court ?
Are there hawker centers, food courts in US ?
Hawker center, food court consists of many food stalls each with their own service/cashier counter, the dining area is common.
I like to eat in hawker center or food court when on tour as I can try many varieties of food and it's usually cheaper.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Many larger shopping malls have 'food courts' which have multiple competing vendors selling food ranging from Hot dogs and Hamburgers to Asian food and pretty much anything in between.
I prefer to eat at smaller independent 'diners' as you get a lot more food for your money than at a 'chain' or franchise place.

yes there are some food courts that are not within a mall, some 'strip malls' are dominated by food courts often in business or recreation areas.
Thanks.
Are there food courts or hawker centers which are not inside shopping mall ?
