That truly depends on who you ask, and how much historical information they have when it comes to the sport. Clearly, a lot of people from the older generation will clearly say that Paul Henderson's decisive goal in Game 8 of the 1972 Summit Series with Russia may very well be the most famous goal scored. Others will point to Mario Lemieux in the Canada Cup back in 1987. The current generation will point to Crosby's winner as the beat all and end all.
