You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

When I'm sad, I talk to friends. I play games on DS or on PC. I listen to loud happy tunes... the ones that could make me feel good. I blog or I tweet or browse other blogs online. I play with the cats too. They can cheer me up easily! ^^
I think it's much better if you won't really have to run away somewhere when you're sad... it'll just make you feel alone and eventually makes the whole thing worst. If you feel sad, do things that would make you happy. If you still feel sad, think happy thoughts. If this still doesn't work, then maybe you're over thinking of whatever problem you have. Mind over matter. :)

M$If I want actual social contacts, luckily I play bingo a couple of times a week and also enjoy lunches out with friends.
After I get a taste of talking and laughing with friends, I feel much better, and I'm ready to come back home and attack my computer and internet article writing!!!

M$To stay alone for no reason, that's not a good thing to do.
In my opinion i should find a way out of this situation.
The best way for me and really works is ,to meet the friends, watch a funny movie, or just looking for more peace of mind.
The solution in this case might be to realize that not me,we but many feel the same ...
take care

M$It sure does! I have Mahalo set to send me e-mail whenever I get a comment or an answer. My inbox almost always has e-mails in it, when I check. I love that when my husband is at work and I want some interaction!
Does it help though?
haha.. I guess most of the members enjoy the email notifications too. Me included.
When I feel lonely, I'll just log online or join a class in the gym. Not exactly easy to call someone when we start working these days. Gotta be a little independent. Some meditates to get away. Some sleeps. Looks like you literally do a lot to avoid loneliness..
Any specific place other than home?
Hmm... I really don't have any specific place to go when I'm lonely. I just stay wherever I am and try to overcome the sadness I feel by diverting my mind into other things... like talking or chatting to some friends, surfing the net... etc. :)
Is loneliness a problem though?
Good to hear. =)
No not really. :) Usually, after doing those stuffs I mentioned, the loneliness disappears. ^^
XD one time only and :) two times....not too much as usual. hahaha XD
